Affiliate Implementation
Brokers Web has three basic implementation paths for new affiliates, and allows affiliate partners to choose the implementation that is best for them.

Light Integration - Standard
Under a “light” integration, the affiliate partner would point a text link or a banner ( for which HealthCare.com can provide the image ) to HealthCare.com’s owned health insurance portal, HealthInsuranceFinders.com.
From there, the user would initiate a category-specific and location-specific query, and HealthCare.com and the affiliate partner would share in the click revenue generated from the paid listings.
The affiliate partner would simply implement a one-line source code specific for this implementation into the affiliate partner’s website and/or ad server. |

Branded Integration - Standard
Under a ”branded” integration, the affiliate partner would host a search box and results on their own site, and the implementation would be fully-branded as that of affiliate partner ( with the sole exception being a link at the bottom of our paid listings page that reads “Ads powered by Brokers Web” ).
The key differentiator against the “Light Integration (Standard)” is that users will be directed in this implementation to a partner-branded search results page hosted on the partner’s server and bearing the partner’s URL. Please click here for an example of how a branded search results page would look and operate. ( Note: In the final product, the header, footer, and URL would be that of the affiliate partner when it is fully-implemented and hosted on the partner’s end. )
The affiliate partner may navigate its users to the search page through one or more of the following:
- Run internal banners ( see example )
- Run internal text links “Find Health Insurance Quotes”
- Send targeted emails to their users
- Search box widget as an ad unit
| The integration would involve the uploading of two PHP files onto the affiliate partner's web servers. |
1) One for the search box Page.
2) Another for the search results page. |
Branded Integration - Customized
The “Branded Integration ( Customized )” option will appeal to affiliate partners with the desire and technical resources to create a custom integration using the Brokers Web code. One such example of a custom development is http://www.online-health-insurance.com/.
HealthCare.com encourages affiliate partners with technical resources to use customized integrations paths so long as they meet the guidelines specified in Brokers Web Terms & Conditions.
