Matias de Tezanos

Chief Executive Officer

Matias founded the hotel reservation site Hoteles.com in the year 2000. The site became one of the top hotel reservation sites in Spanish, acquired and operated by Expedia since 2002. In 2003, de Tezanos Co-Founded ClickDiario.com, an Internet advertising network targeting Spanish Speaking Internet users worldwide. 2 years after, the company was ranked by Comscore the leading Spanish adNetwork reaching 6 out of 10 Internet users. ClickDiario was acquired and in 2006 the company changed its name to .FOX. After departing from ClickDiario, de Tezanos started Healthcare.com Inc., a Florida based Internet search company focused in the health-care vertical. The company serves millions of healthcare-related searches every month. In 2008 Healthcare.com acquired BrokersWeb and started operating under this name. EONetwork.org Elumni. Honored by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader in 2009, at the age of 29.

Jose Vargas

President

Jose was previously the founder and CEO of MailCreations.com, Inc., a successful online marketing and lead generation company with a worldwide registered user database of over 100 million and clients including 3M, Oracle, MBNA, Citibank, Orchard Bank, Microsoft and HBO. The company was profitable since its inception and its revenues grew over 100% year over year. MailCreations.com was acquired by a publicly-traded Internet company in 2004. Jose serves as Director of the Organization of American States Young American Business Trust Chapter and is a member of the Florida International Council of 100. Since 2007, he has served as Board Member of RockingTheBoat.org, a non-for-profit foundation serving underprivileged teens in New York City. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Florida International University, where he also served as an adjunct professor in 2003 teaching Internet Marketing.

Howard Yeh

Chief Operating Officer

Howard was previously a vice president in the IT investment practice of VantagePoint Venture Partners, a venture capital firm managing over $4B of capital. Prior to joining HealthCare.com, he has had over seven years of experience in investing, financial analysis and deal execution in the media and marketing services sectors. At VPVP, he was a member of the Digital Media Group focused primarily on internet marketing services and online media. In this role, he was responsible for deal sourcing, investment evaluation, term sheet negotiation, deal documentation, due diligence and portfolio management. Prior to joining VPVP in 2003, he was an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch's Global Media group based in New York, advising in a variety of M&A and financing assignments. He graduated cum laude from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics, concentrating in finance.

Todd Faucher

Executive Vice President

Todd is the co-founder of BrokersWeb along with Quang Nguyen and heads overall operations at BrokersWeb. Earlier in his career, Todd was a California-licensed health insurance agent with Allhealth Insurance Services, Inc. in Redlands, CA, with primary responsibility for the agency’s sales efforts, customer service and insurance carrier relationships. As part of Allhealth, Todd launched one of the first consumer health insurance websites with online quoting capability in 1997. In addition, Todd led the development of HealthInsuranceFinders.com, a leading consumer health insurance resource site with some of the highest organic search engine rankings on the web.

Quang Nguyen

VP Product

Quang is the VP Engineering of BrokersWeb and is responsible for all product development and technology on the BrokersWeb PPC platform. Quang is the co-founder of BrokersWeb and
HealthInsuranceFinders.com along with Todd Faucher. Quang graduated from Tulane University with a BS in Engineering.

Sergio Vela

VP Technology

Sergio, part of the founding team of HealthCare.com, is responsible for all areas of IT development, website production, databases and networks. Before HealthCare.com, Mr. Vela was the Chief Technology Officer of ClickDiario Network, the largest Spanish language advertising network, recently acquired by News Corp. Mr. Vela also served as Platform Analyst for Terra-Lycos, overseeing a network of portals in a number of countries such as USA, Mexico, Central America, Colombia and Argentina. Sergio holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Universidad Francisco Marroquin and a MBA from UNIS Business School.

Michael K. Foster

VP Sales

Michael heads sales efforts and ad operations for new BrokersWeb advertisers, and works closely with BrokersWeb’s ad operations team to ensure that advertisers’ customer acquisition goals are being met. Michael heightens the visibility, awareness and penetration of the BrokersWeb brand through outreach to leading insurance carriers, independent brokers and national call centers. Michael has over 7 years of experience in online customer acquisition for high-volume insurance producers. Prior to joining HealthCare.com, Michael served at Quotit Corporation in a sales and business development capacity. In nearly 5 years as the top producer at Quotit Corporation, Michael worked with thousands of insurance brokers to develop an effective web presence and utilize technology to increase sales and efficiency. Michael holds a BA in Business Administration with a concentration in finance from Cal State University Fullerton.

Enrique Mata

Partner Operations Manager

Enrique has been in charge of managing partner operations HealthCare.com since the company was founded in 2007. In his current role as Partner Operations Manager, Enrique (“Kique”) oversees all implementations and optimizations for HealthCare.com’s BrokersWeb Publisher Profit Sharing program. In addition to the initial implementation of the BrokersWeb APS, he is also involved in ongoing projects to optimize revenue opportunities in our existing partner implementations. Such optimizations have included partner-specific recommendations on new placements, listings design and call-to-action text. His expertise includes web development (in particular, HTML and CSS), web usability, design-for-conversion, and split-testing. Enrique is a self-taught web developer whose formal studies were in Architecture and Photography. Prior to joining HealthCare.com, Enrique was webmaster for Guatemala’s Ministry of Environment. Outside of HealthCare.com, Enrique is a freelance photographer who has participated in local art shows and has several award-winning photos in his personal portfolio.
